CranioSacral Healing

Craniosacral Bodywork

"The treatment plan is inherent in the tissue" - "At the heart of every dysfunction lies health, lies healing."

Craniosacral therapy is a body-oriented, manual form of treatment that developed from osteopathy in the USA in the first half of the 20th century.

It is based on working with the craniosacral rhythm, which is reflected in the fine pulsation of the brain and spinal cord fluid. This fluid nourishes, moves and protects our nervous system - from the skull (cranium) to the sacrum (sacrum). Since the craniosacral rhythm spreads throughout the body via the connective tissue, it can be felt everywhere.

As a craniosacral practitioner, I can feel the quality of the rhythmic movements and can support and harmonize them. As a result, tension, pain or restricted mobility are released; the immune system is strengthened and the vital functions are stabilized.

Craniosacral practitioners work holistically and with the greatest care - on a physical, emotional and psychological level. We orient ourselves to our inherent health and the self-healing powers that we bring with us. A respectful verbal accompaniment of the manual treatment supports self-awareness and can also offer emotional processes space and support at the same time.

A cranio session usually lasts about an hour, but it can be shorter for children and babies. Meanwhile, you lie in comfortable clothing on a therapy table. However, you can also sit, stand or move.

Targeted, mindful touches create a kind of dialogue between my hands and you and your body - often there are longer quiet moments. However, you can exchange ideas with me at any time and report how and what you are currently experiencing.

Respectful verbal accompaniment supports your self-awareness during the cranio session and can also offer inner, emotional processes space and support at the same time.

"My concern as a trainer is not only to convey knowledge and skills comprehensively, precisely, well-founded and lively, but above all to create a space in which the learners experience the range and depth of CranioSacral Healing for themselves, because that enables them to pass on the craniosacral healing work from within with a grown presence."
